I believe it is essential for all learners to see themselves as confident doers and thinkers of mathematics. We need to provide rich learning opportunities through which students can learn and share their mathematical thinking in diverse, creative ways. Students need to feel empowered to take risks in their mathematical thinking and explore new ideas. It is paramount that we engage and value all mathematical voices. On this website, I am excited to share teaching ideas and perspectives, based on my research and practice, that I have found helpful in supporting students learning mathematics. Whether it is the activities, videos, my blog, or other content you explore on this site, I hope you will find the information helpful and meaningful for you and your students
